Project Management
We align our Clients, their representatives, all project team members and fixture, furniture and equipment (FFE) suppliers with our interior design team seamlessly in every phase.
Interior Design Property Improvement Plan (PIP)
Frankly, the industry norm is to WOW clients first, then scramble to deliver a package within the budget that ultimately bears little resemblance to the initial offerings. Our PIP merges the initial WOW elements with the client’s budget. This allows us to present a conceptual package that is absolutely grounded in reality and attainable. Rest assured, our recommendations can be obtained within your budget and within the timeframe. Yet, you will find we sacrifice none of the aesthetics or unique handiwork that sets our projects apart.
Our PIP includes all foreseeable FFE and special finish selections with estimated quantities and costs. We also estimate all soft costs incurred through installation. What we provide, in other words, is a reality-based FFE grand total to compare against initial client budgets. We work closely with our clients to understand the individual character of their projects inclusive of budget and schedules so that our designs are truly comprehensive.
Presentation Materials
For client reviews and approvals, IDS generates full-color, color/material boards and interior renderings. These graphic presentations illustrate the Designer’s recommendations using a variety of resources including, but not limited to fabric swatches, finish samples, furniture images and renderings that are suitable for presentations to small groups as well as conference-style gatherings. All of our final presentation materials are formatted for public display.
Fixture, Furniture and Equipment (FFE) Specifications
We utilize specification software that's equivalent to the the industry's gold standard. With it, we align specifications to budget, supplier and purchasing platforms that produce a comprehensive database specific to your project. As a result, we can also produce up-to-the-minute status reports that track your budget in real time with ease. Our software is a flexible and precise tool that gives you peace of mind.
Purchasing
Our proprietary software generates purchase orders, status and payment reports, and allows us to track your goods at all points of the procurement process. This enables us to keep your time sensitive schedule on track.
Installation Administration
We can provide on-site administrative services for all installation of FFE. If any item is damaged during installation, we will see that it is repaired or replaced.
Hourly Consultation
The process is less formal for hourly consultation. We offer our expertise to answer specific questions or to discuss options under consideration. We are typically asked to consult on color selections, furnishings and interior architecture.
Concept Development
Our innovative concepts are designed from information gathered through extensive client consultations, thorough research of the project’s cultural and/ or historical significance and client goals. We merge all of these disparate elements into a unique design that expresses the soul of your project as a meaningful and memorable design.
Construction Drawings and Documents
Due to the extensive architectural background of our staff IDS generates professional, high quality construction drawings, finish material legends and associated schedules. Our typical drawing package includes but is not limited to: floor finish plans; ceiling finish plans; lighting plans; interior elevations; casegood drawings; and special finish installation details.
